Webinar: The GovLab Demos for Democracy features PlaceSpeak

demos for democracy

We are delighted to have been invited to feature as part of GovLab’s Demos for Democracy series of live events. GovLab’s mission is to deepen the understanding of how to govern more effectively and legitimately through technology.

Those values align closely with our own as PlaceSpeak strives to build legitimacy in online democratic practices by authenticating digital identity to place, protecting individual privacy, and closing the feedback loop between public consultation and accountability.

Demos for Democracy is a series of live, interactive online demos that feature designers and builders of the latest innovative governance platforms, tools or methods to foster greater openness and collaboration in how we govern.

You can join us on March 29, 2016  for the PlaceSpeak Demo. View the live event and participate in the discussion about PlaceSpeak, how it works, the process of its design and how the platform can be used for social good.

The speaker will be Colleen Hardwick, Founder and CEO of PlaceSpeak
